The Sugar Industry in Tamilnadu is an important
agro-based industry next to textile industry. It plays a major role in
the economic development of rural areas in Tamilnadu.The Mill has been
started with the objective of augmenting the sugar production of
the country and generate rural employment.
The vision behind it is to develop the socio economic condition of
rural populace and attaining self sufficiency in sugar production. The
hub of activities of sugar mill generate thousands of employment
opportunities in the area cane cultivation, cane harvest and cane
transportation etc.
Being a co operative unit under Tamilnadu Government, the mills
